Thank you for supporting our mission through equipment donations. Donated equipment helps introduce more young people to the game of golf. Please review our donation guidelines below before dropping off equipment.

We have two options for you to donate either by Local Drop-Off or through the 2nd Swing Club Donation Program.

What Can I Donate?

Golf Clubs

While the age guideline is not exact, newer clubs are generally easier for kids to learn with and are more likely to be placed with participants. Older clubs often have worn grips, outdated technology, and can be difficult to match with youth golfers.

Golf Bags

We prefer stand bags that are in good working condition and include functional backpack-style shoulder straps.

Please do not donate:

  • Torn or heavily damaged bags

  • Bags with broken zippers

  • Bags with missing or non-functioning straps

Golf Balls

We gladly accept:

  • New golf balls

  • Used golf balls of any brand or condition suitable for play

Push Carts

We accept 3-wheel and 4-wheel push carts that are approximately 10–12 years old or newer and in good working condition.

Please ensure carts:

  • Roll properly

  • Have no flat tires

  • Have all straps intact and functional

Older push carts tend to be heavier and more difficult for kids to use on a regular basis.

Items We Are Unable to Accept

At this time, we cannot accept:

  • Travel bags

  • Golf shoes

Ship to 2nd Swing Club Donation Program

  • When completing the donation form, fill in our chapter name to ensure the donation is directed to us (there are 165+ chapters so this is important!).
  • If you have equipment to donate that you cannot find in the system, add it to your shipping box and make a note in the “notes” section of the donation form. You can also donate golf balls, apparel, golf bags, range finders, etc. 2nd Swing’s staff will process the items and contact you about their donation value.
  • When shipping your equipment to 2nd Swing, please print your FREE shipping labels and include a copy of your donation summary in each box. The donation summary can be printed directly from the website or from your email confirmation.
  • A donation receipt will be sent to you within 3-4 weeks of receiving the donation. Our chapter will receive your donation within a month.
