Meet Abby

The game of golf has been a constant in Abigail’s life as early as she can remember. When she was 7 years old, she was enrolled in the First Tee – Lehigh Valley & Berks program and never looked back. She currently serves as a junior assistant coach with our younger participants and is involved in many extracurricular activities at her high school.

“Golf and First Tee have taught me to strive for greatness, learn from mistakes, adapt to curve balls, be honest with myself and those around me, and cheer on others in their game. Coaching and teaching kids can be extremely challenging, but the perseverance and confidence I have built through the First Tee have allowed me to push past the nervousness I initially felt when I began as an assistant coach 2 years ago. I am venturing out of my comfort zone and challenging myself to engage in activities that I would not normally find myself in.”

We are proud of Abby’s growth and look forward to what she will accomplish after she graduates.
