What a summer it’s been! Across seven sites in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County, First Tee Lehigh Valley and Berks welcomed over 150 participants this summer, giving young people the chance to build golf skills, confidence, and character all season long.
In Berks County, our programs ran at Golden Oaks, Manor Golf Club, and Sitler Golf. In the Lehigh Valley, we were on-site at Twin Lakes, Riverview, Steel Club, and Bethlehem Municipal Golf Club. Seeing our reach across seven communities this summer is a reminder of just how far this mission has traveled, and how much further we can go.

Beyond the swings and scorecards, our coaches spent the summer helping kids build the life skills that matter most: honesty, respect, perseverance, and confidence both on and off the course. Watching participants grow throughout the season, not just as golfers but as young people learning to carry themselves with integrity, is what this program is all about.
None of this happens without our coaches. Thank you to every coach who showed up, session after session, to mentor, encourage, and guide our participants this summer. Your commitment is the heart of this program.
Looking ahead, we’ll be sending a survey to parents in the coming weeks to hear your feedback on this summer’s programming. Your input helps us keep improving and making sure every First Tee experience is a great one, so keep an eye out for that.
